You don’t have to go far to get a taste of Istria. Vinakoper, just a short drive from the hotel, is home to some of the region’s best-known wines and offers an easy introduction to the varieties, stories and winemaking tradition of this part of Slovenia.

If you’re visiting with a group of 10 or more, you can book a guided tour of the Vinakoper wine cellar followed by a tasting. Along the way, you’ll learn more about the history of Vinakoper, how their wines are made and what makes the wines of Slovenian Istria distinctive.

Travelling on your own or with a smaller group? Stop by the Vinakoper Wine Boutique, where individual tastings are available for up to 10 people. There’s no need to book ahead, purchase a tasting voucher at the boutique during opening hours.
