We work with nearby producers, fishermen and suppliers, keeping good ingredients and the people behind them close.
Our wine selection celebrates Slovenia and the wider Adriatic region, with plenty of bottles worth opening and no need to wait for a special occasion.
Capra has called Koper home since 2014, combining the flavours of our region with a modern, curious way of cooking.

SINCE 2014
Koper’s goat has been around for centuries. Capra joined the story in 2014. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the city’s favourite places to eat, bringing locals, travellers and hotel guests together around our tables.
Capra is recognised by Gault&Millau with 2 toques and Falstaff with 2 forks; and, more importantly, by the guests who keep coming back.
Meet The Chef
At the heart of Capra’s kitchen is chef Marja Černe. Her cooking starts with respect for the ingredient, the season and the flavours of this place, but there’s always room for curiosity and new ideas. Together with her team, she brings familiar Mediterranean flavours into the present.
