We choose local whenever we can, work to reduce waste and unnecessary consumption, and look for better ways to use water, energy and everyday resources. We support local partners, encourage our guests to explore Koper on foot and keep learning where we can do better.

Local ingredients, local producers, local partners. Whenever we can, we keep our supply chains short and work with people and businesses from the place we call home.
Less Waste, Better Choices
Waste from guest rooms is sorted by our housekeeping team before being separated further for recycling. We avoid unnecessary single-use products wherever possible and keep looking for practical ways to create less waste in the first place.
Cleaner, With Less
We reduce unnecessary waste through controlled dosing systems that help our housekeeping team use only the cleaning products needed. Our guest rooms are also equipped with Naturals Remedies shampoo, shower gel and hand wash, made with high-quality natural ingredients. In our public areas, we also use EU Ecolabel-certified paper products.
A Little Help Goes a Long Way
We take care of the bigger picture, but a little help goes a long way. Skip daily room cleaning if you don’t need it. Refill your water bottle with Slovenia’s excellent tap water or choose filtered water, available at the hotel. Separate your waste. Leave the car behind and discover Koper on foot. Simple choices that fit naturally into your stay.
Using Less, Thoughtfully
Our smart room systems reduce unnecessary energy use when rooms are unoccupied, intelligent lighting controls ensure lights are used when needed and water-saving fixtures use less water without compromising on pressure. Our team helps rooms stay naturally cooler by closing windows and lowering the blinds during hot weather. For guests travelling by electric vehicle, charging stations are available on site.

We cook with the seasons, plan our menus carefully and use ingredients thoughtfully across our kitchens and breakfast offering. It’s how we serve better food while keeping unnecessary food waste to a minimum.
Our Work Continues
Sustainability is never finished. We review our actions regularly and keep looking for practical ways to do better. We involve our team, invest in learning and listen to both our employees and our guests. We learn from what works, share ideas and set new goals as we go. Some changes are small, others take time. What matters is that we keep learning and moving forward.
