High above the coast in the village of Marezige, Slovenia’s first wine fountain brings together wines from across Slovenian Istria, with views stretching all the way to the sea.

Choose your tasting, take your glass and discover wines from Vinakoper and local Marezige winemakers, alongside the winning Refošk of the annual Refošk Festival and the current Mayor’s Wine of the Municipality of Koper. Add a plate of Istrian bites, find a spot overlooking the vineyards and stay for sunset if you can.

The fountain sits on a panoramic terrace at the top of the village, with two oversized wooden wine glasses that have become something of a landmark themselves. There’s also a small shop where you can take home local wines and other Istrian products.

A Wine Fountain glass, carrying pouch and three tasting tokens for the outdoor pavilion. Includes 3 dl of wine in total.

Tasting Package 2
A Wine Fountain glass, carrying pouch and credit to taste up to six selected wines in the indoor wine pavilion. Includes 3 dl of wine in total.

Complete the tasting with local Istrian cold cuts and other regional products. Guided tastings of Istrian specialities can also be arranged with an advance reservation.

Hop on the Wine Bus and head into the vineyards. Choose your route and let the road take you through Istrian villages, vineyards and some of the countryside’s most beautiful viewpoints.
